Next week Metallica will take the stage of the Johan Cruijff ArenA. This is everything you can expect from Metallica: the M72 World Tour!

First things first: who are Metallica? 🤷🏽

Metallica is an American metalband which started in 1981. A few songs you might know are Nothing Else Matters, Enter Sandman and Whiskey in the Jar. In 2021 they released the album The Metallica Blacklist, this album was an ode to their 1991 album The Black Album. The 2021 release consisted of covers of their own songs, with artists like Alessia Cara, Miley Cyrus and Weezer.

The theme of the M72 World Tour 🟨

The tour is centered around Metallica's newest album: 72 Seasons. The album released last Friday on April 14 and a number of music videos have been made for the songs If Darkness Had A Son, Screaming Suicide, Lux Æterna and more. During the tour the band will play a different setlist at each show and there are different opening acts for each night. All the more reason to go to both shows in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.

Opening acts 👨🏻‍🎤
