Traffic disruption on June 22nd

On Sunday, June 22nd, there will be traffic disruptions around Amsterdam due to the A10 closure (Festival Op de Ring) and the NATO Summit in The Hague. If you're travelling to the ArenA by car, check your route before departure through Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps. The A10 will open again at 3:00 PM, but expect over an hour of additional travel time.

Public transport

There are two train stations near the Johan Cruijff ArenA: Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA and Duivendrecht. Both stations are within walking distance of the stadium. Plan your trip in advance with the NS travel planner on the NS website or app. Check the travel planner shortly before departure for any last-minute changes or delays. City and regional buses also reach the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Plan your route with the 9292 OV planner.


Bicycle/motorcycle

You can park bicycles at the forecourt of Woonmall Villa ArenA and at Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA station.
 

Car

If you travel by car, we advise you to leave early and enter the area via S112/Gooiseweg. From there, you will be directed to a suitable parking location. You can also use the P+R network in Amsterdam (Amsterdam RAI, Olympic Stadium, P&R North). Consider heavy traffic, extra travel time, and traffic jams both before and after the concert.

Practical information

  • The shows are on Sunday, June 22nd and Monday, June 23nd. On both days, the stadium opens at 5 PM. Davina Michelle is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM. Robbie Williams takes the stage at 8:45 PM.
  • Johan Cruijff ArenA is a cashless stadium. Therefore, you can only pay with your debit or credit card.
  • Johan Cruijff ArenA is a smoke-free stadium. There are no places in the stadium where smoking is allowed.
  • The roof is closed during the Robbie Williams concert.
  • The correct entrance for your ticket is listed on your ticket. It is not possible to enter through any other entrance.
  • Visitors are not allowed to bring food and beverages into the stadium. There are several food and beverage stands in the stadium.
  • Bags up to (30 cm x 21 cm x 10 cm) are allowed to be brought, after checking. Larger bags or suitcases are not allowed.
  • It is permitted to bring a power bank into the stadium, no larger than a phone.
  • There are no special Kiss & Ride locations during Robbie Williams show. However, there will be a Meeting Point at ArenAPark, where people traveling by car can drop off and pick up visitors. Be aware of the large crowds after the concert.
  • First aid posts will be available at several locations in the stadium and mobile teams will walk the field and rings. First aid areas are indicated by signs. In case of an emergency call, stewards can assist in finding the first aid stations or mobile teams.
