Saturday January 14: Ajax – FC Twente ⚽

Our year starts with an Eredivisie match of Ajax against FC Twente on Saturday January 14, in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Ajax is currently second place in the Eredivisie, and FC Twente is in fifth place. It could turn out to be an exciting match! We can't wait to see the ArenA filled again with thousands of fans. Thursday January 19: Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2023 ♟️

After the Ajax match, the Johan Cruijff ArenA will become a place where the biggest chess masters come together. During the Tata Steel Chess Tournament it's tradition that one round gets played at a special location in the Netherlands, and this year that's our very own ArenA. Big players like Magnus Carlsen and Ding Liren will be joining us and Tex de Wit will be doing commentary. Tickets for this event are free! Get them via the button below.

Thursday January 26: Ajax – FC Volendam 🏟️

January ends with an Eredivisie match of Ajax against FC Volendam. These two clubs have played against each other 55 times in the past, of which Ajax has won most (70,9%). The last time the two clubs played against each other in the Johan Cruijff ArenA during the Eredivisie was in February 2009! Ajax won this match with 2-1. This day is bound to be a special one.
