Your seat in the stadium
Are you coming to the Johan Cruijff ArenA and do you have a disability? If so, it’s a good idea to find out in advance where the best seats are. For many visitors, a seat in the first tier is the most comfortable. This tier is less steep, meaning you’ll have fewer steps to climb.
Will you be using a wheelchair during the event? If so, please choose a wheelchair-accessible seat. This always includes one seat for a companion.
You can buy tickets through the event organiser, such as the KNVB, Ajax, MOJO or Rocket.
Assistive devices: what can you bring?
Below you can see what you are and aren’t allowed to bring inside. The organiser may refuse entry to items if they are unsafe. Our house rules always take precedence in this regard.

Travelling to the stadium and parking
Are you coming to the ArenA? Find out the best way to get to the stadium and where you can park. You’ll also find information here about accessible parking and buying parking tickets.

Support and wheelchair spaces
Everyone is welcome at our events.
Do you need support outside the stadium as well? If so, we ask that you bring a carer with you.
Are you fully independent? Then you’re of course welcome without a carer too!

Escalators and lifts
To make your visit as accessible as possible, you’ll find practical information here about escalators and lifts at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, including their locations and how to book.

Toilets, flasks and catering
Accessible toilets are located near the wheelchair spaces and platforms. If you don’t have a wheelchair space but do need an accessible toilet, it’s best to choose a seat near Entrance E. You’ll find an accessible toilet on every level here.
Would you like to express milk? Unfortunately, there are no dedicated breastfeeding rooms yet. In consultation with the first-aid team, you may be able to use their space (medical needs always take priority). Please let us know in advance via the contact form. You can also speak to a (medical) steward to find a suitable spot together.
Catering is available at the MIVA platform and all wheelchair spaces. Some bars are not yet at the ideal height. We’re working on that.

Audio description
Ajax matches
You can listen to live audio description via ajax.nl/audio. This starts 7 minutes before kick-off. You’ll need to use your own mobile phone and earphones.
Concerts
During the summer concerts in 2026, you can listen to audio description during the main programme via the event page. You’ll need to use your own mobile phone and earphones. This service is available to everyone in the stadium.

Sensitivity to stimuli & support
Are you sensitive to stimuli, do you have an Autipas, or do you wear a Sunflower Lanyard? We’d be happy to discuss with you what works best for you.
During concerts, if you have a general admission ticket, you can retreat to our sensory-friendly unit on the ArenAdek. It’s quieter there and there’s a peaceful place to sit. If it’s busy, you can use the unit for up to 15 minutes at a time. You can use the space several times during the evening.
Would you like to make use of this facility? Please let us know in advance via the contact form. We also recommend entering the stadium at a quiet time.

Digital accessibility
We are constantly working to improve the accessibility of our websites and apps, in line with international guidelines such as WCAG 2.1 AA and the European Accessibility Act. Do you have any feedback, or have you come across something that could be improved? Please do let us know.
