On Sunday April 2 the Cruyff Legacy 14K started. A running event organised by the Cruyff Foundation where money gets raised and awareness gets created for the fact that doing sports isn't guaranteed for all kids and adolescents. The first match of Ajax in the Johan Cruijff ArenA in april will take place on Sunday April 9. In the past, Ajax en Fortuna Sittard have played 47 matches against each other and Ajax won 37 of these. Sunday April 16: Ajax – FC Emmen 🏟️

A week later, on April 16, it's time for the second match of Ajax in the Johan Cruijff ArenA, this time against FC Emmen. Thursday April 27 and Saturday April 29: Metallica 🎸

The first concert weekend of 2023 is taking place in the last weekend of April. American metal band Metallica, who have performed here before in 2019, will be on the stage of the ArenA on April 27 and April 29. During this weekend, the band will play a different setlist on each day and both shows will have different opening acts! Before the shows start, there will also be free concerts by Another Now and Ramkot in the foyer of the Ziggo Dome, another concert venue neighbouring the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
