Tuesday October 4: Ajax – SSC Napoli
The month started with Ajax their second home match in the group stage of the Champions League in the Johan Cruijff ArenA against SSC Napoli from Napels, Italy. This match was a special one, because the teams had only played against each other twice before, in the season of 1969/70. Despite Ajax their home win then with 4-0, it wasn't in the cards this evening with a loss of 1-6. Better luck next time!
Sunday October 16: Ajax – Excelsior
After the Champions League match of Tuesday October 4, there's a bit of time to calm down and get ready for the Eredivisie match of Ajax against Excelsior on Sunday October 16. Ajax is currently second place in the Eredivisie, and Excelsior is eleventh. Ajax has won almost every single match against the team from Rotterdam. Will you cheer Ajax into another win during the tenth matchweek of the Eredivisie? There are still tickets available!
Saturday October 22: Amsterdam Music Festival
The day after the match of Ajax against Excelsior, the build-up for Amsterdam Music Festival in the Johan Cruijff ArenA will begin. After the event got postponed last year due to the restrictions surrounding the pandemic, on Saturday October 22 the ArenA will finally get transformed into a place where people can dance all night long. To make this edition extra special, AMF will celebrate her tenth anniversary this evening. The line-up exists of Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Martin Garrix and many more! We are excited for this event, are you as well?
Wednesday October 26: Ajax – Liverpool FC
After the spectacle of AMF, the pitch of the Johan Cruijff ArenA will be brought out again for the third home match in the group stage of the Champions League. Get ready for Ajax against Liverpool FC! Just like with SSC Napoli, Ajax and Liverpool FC have only played against each other a few times in the past. Ajax lost three times of the club and has won just once in 1966 with 5-1. But with all the trust of the fans, a change should be coming!
Saturday October 29: Ajax – Vitesse
We're closing off the month October with an Eredivisie match of Ajax against Vitesse. The two clubs have played against each other many times before, and Ajax has won more times than it has lost. This match is bound to become another match that Ajax will win in the familiar Johan Cruijff ArenA. Will we see you on the stands?

A few weeks before every match, tickets will become available of season ticket holders who can't come to the matches anymore. This way they can make other people happy!
