Humberto live from the Johan Cruijff ArenA for one night only
Upcoming Saturday, August 14, the Johan Cruijff ArenA will exist for 25 years. To honour this anniversary, the talkshow Humberto will broadcast live from the stadium on Friday evening. Humberto Tan will welcome his guests just next to the field, and a big part of the show will be about the ArenA. The CEO of the ArenA, Henk Markerink, is one of the guests, as well as Trijntje Oosterhuis, who sang 'De Zee' at the opening of the ArenA, and René Froger, who has performed in the ArenA many times. William Rutten will bring photo's and stories of some of the most legendary concerts in the ArenA.
Because besides being the home of AFC Ajax and the Dutch Team, the ArenA has been used as a stage for the biggest artists and dance events for years. National and international artists like Madonna, Robbie Williams, André Rieu, Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, The Rollling Stones, Coldplay and André Hazes have performed. The last few years the ArenA has welcomed about 40 million visitors and the extraordinary events, such as the funeral of André Hazes and the party before the marriage of king Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima, have become a part of the history of the Netherlands.
