Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band naar de Johan Cruijff ArenA

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band return to music venues with their 2023 Tour which has more than thirty dates in European cities. On Thursday May 25, 2023, and Saturday May 27, 2023, the band will take the stage of the Johan Cruijff ArenA.

The European leg of the tour will start after the North American leg, which starts in February 2023. After spending the summer in Europe, another leg in North America is scheduled to start in August of 2023.

The European leg will pass by enough cities for all European fans. There's concerts in Barcelone, Dublin, Paris, Ferrare, Rome, Amsterdam, Landgraaf, Zürich, Düsseldorf, Göteborg, Oslo, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Vienna, Munich and Monza. Other shows in the United Kingdom and Belgium will be announced later.

This tour will be the first live concerts of Springsteen and the E Street Band since the 'The River Tour' in 2016 and 2017. This tour got proclaimed by both Billboard and Pollstar as the best worldwide tour of 2016.

The last performance of the band was in the show 'Saturday Night Live', in december 2020, where they performed two songs of their most recent album Letter To You. This was the first time in a decade that the song got played live and directly became number 1 in eleven countries. And Springsteen was busy last year, he released 'The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts' movie, which hadn't been released before; worked together with Barack Obama on the book 'Renegades: Born In The USA'; and played his recordbreaking show 'Springsteen On Broadway' in New York to support re-opening theaters.

The E Street Band consists of: Roy Bittan (piano, synthesizer), Nils Lofgren (guitar, vocals), Patti Scialfa (guitar, vocals), Garry Tallent (bass), Stevie Van Zandt (guitar, vocals) and Max Weinberg (drums), as well as Soozie Tyrell (violin, guitar, vocals), Jake Clemons (saxophone) and Charlie Giordano (keyboards).
