Bas-Jeroen Busscher


In 1996, Bas-Jeroen played a crucial role in the start-up of Johan Cruijff ArenA as a fulltime management board member and corporate lawyer. After 13 successful years as a legal consultant and owner of Scoparius Construction Law and Management, Bas-Jeroen rejoined Johan Cruijff ArenA in 2012.

Stationed in Brazil, Bas-Jeroen is responsible for advising the management of the new World Cup stadium in Salvador da Bahia and other Brazilian projects.

Bas-Jeroen is a very experienced legal advisor and contract manager in the field of large-scale infrastructure projects. With his excellent track record as contract/claim manager on multiple infrastructure projects Bas-Jeroen is regarded as a top expert in the field. His expertise is well known and in high demand. In the past 20 years, he has been involved in almost all large-scale infrastructure projects in the Netherlands (railroads, highways, bridges, tunnels, dams, airports, harbors, stadiums, hospitals and museums).
