Metallica - WorldWired Tour
tuesday 11 june 2019 | Johan Cruijff ArenA, Amsterdam
As part of their WorldWired Tour, Metallica will give a concert in the Amsterdam Johan Cruyff ArenA on Tuesday 11 June 2019. The performance is part of a huge series of open-air concerts in Europe and the UK that lead the band between stadiums, parks and even a real castle between 1 May and 25 August 2019. The ticket sale starts on September 28 at 10.00.
Metallica was founded in 1981 by drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield and has become one of the most influential and successful rock bands in history. The band from California, for example, sold 110 million albums worldwide and played for millions of fans on literally all seven continents. They have released a number of multi-platinum albums, including the 1991 album Metallica (better known as The Black Album). With the sale of nearly 17 million copies in the United States alone, it is the best-selling album in Soundscan's history.
With an extensive tour schedule like this, it is almost impossible for the Wherever I May Roam Black Ticket to return; a ticket that gives access to a random Metallica show during this European and British tour of 2019. From A (msterdam) to Z (ürich) and all cities in between, Black Ticket holders only have to choose a performance and at least 48 hours in advance the relevant show to make an online reservation. A limited number of 750 of these Black Tickets are available.
As with most of Metallica's WorldWired shows, every purchased ticket includes a physical or digital version of the bands' tenth and final album, Hardwired ... To Self-Destruct. In addition, every concert ticket entitles you to a free MP3 download of the featured performance, mixed and mastered by the team behind Hardwired ... To Self-Destruct. The free downloads of the entire concert can be obtained by scanning the barcode of the concert ticket of the show in question or by entering it via LiveMetallica.com/scan.
Several special extras are available, including premium tickets and special features ranging from early entry to the concert venue and the traveling 'Memory Remains' museum to meetings with band members.
